About Instant Solvers
Instant Solvers is an independent collection of practical calculators, converters and technical utilities. The service is operated and maintained by Simon Edwards in the United Kingdom. The aim is simple: put the working tool first, explain the method clearly, and avoid requiring an account for ordinary calculations.
How the tools are maintained
Calculators are checked against known-answer examples and regression tests. Domain-specific tools are documented with their formula or calculation basis, assumptions, limitations and the primary type of source that should be consulted where the answer depends on regulation, standards or manufacturer data.
Corrections
If a result appears wrong, send the tool URL, the values entered, the result shown and the result you expected through the Contact page. Reproducible calculation errors are prioritised and corrected in the next maintenance release.
Editorial principle
Instant Solvers does not publish pages simply to repeat a keyword. A tool page should perform a useful task and explain enough of the method for a user to understand and independently check the result.
