Corrections Policy

Accuracy matters more than defending an existing result. If you find an error, report the exact tool URL, inputs, result shown and expected result.

What happens next

The calculation is reproduced, compared with the documented method and checked against an independent known-answer case. If the implementation or explanation is wrong, the correction is made and a regression test is added where practical.

What counts as a correction

Corrections include incorrect formulae, unit errors, misleading labels, outdated statutory assumptions, broken source references and explanations that could cause a result to be interpreted incorrectly.
